LG GW550 – A Communication Based Phone

LG have just announced the release LG GW500. The gadget is focused on the messaging capabilities;

weather its text or email. There is a full QWERTY keyboard allowing the user to email, chat and send SMS messages with ease which is great for this communication based Mobile Phone.The LG GW550 is a solid phone which weighs 125.5 grams with compact dimensions which allows the user to carry & use their smartphone with ease. It measures 11.6cm tall by 6.2cm wide by 1.2cm deep which is compact enough to fit in the user single hand when in use. The screen dominates the front of the handset at a respectable 2.4 inches from corner to corner; it is a TFT touch screen display with 262K colors and 240 x 400 pixels resolution giving the user a great quality screen.

Communicating with the world is great fun and easy using the LG GW550. There is SMS option with threaded view so you can see the full conversation which you are having with your friend. The special QWERTY keypad has been designed carefully letting you draft an email or type a quick message with enough ease. Other than these, MMS and instant messaging are also included in the messaging services. The device has got an special attribute called Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync which allows you to send and receive push emails even in offline modes.

The device runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Operating System and is a business phone. The document viewer has been made powerful enough to let you handle your Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files from the LG GW550 only. An array of connectivity options includes 3G HSDPA, HSUPA, USB, Bluetooth with A2DP, EDGE and GPRS choices. WAP 2.0, X-HTML and HTML browsers are fairly powerful enough to satisfy your Internet browsing expectations. The memory card slot available on the phone will easily accept a MicroSD memory card up to 8GB.
