How can i add an extra Phone Jack to a room?
There are no phone jacks in my bedroom, and i would like to have one put in there. Instead of getting a REALLY long phone line and hook it up to the one that is way out in the kitchen, is there any way i can have another phone jack installed? Does the phone company do this? Will they have to make a huge whole in my wall to do it? LOL (Newly painted bedroom walls, im paranoid about them getting ruined).
How much do it usually cost to have this done?

If you are uncomfortable doing it yourself or if you don’t know someone who can, yes, the local phone company will install another jack if you are on their service. Check your yellow pages and see if there are other companies around that also do residential work. Usually how much it costs depends on who you have do it.I’m guessing somewhere between $100US and $150US should cover it. It may be a little higher in major metropolitan areas.
