Cordless Phones – Talk more without wires by Dennis Jaylon
Cordless phones user are present in bulk. Basically theses phones are the electronic telephones with a base unit and wireless handsets. This is used within a particular range from the base unit. 100 meters is the range in which it operates. Electricity is the basic need to operate these phones. Batteries are also required to power your phones. 12 to24 hours are required to recharge the battery. There is large number of features that you can have with these phones they are International roaming, cell handover, and data transfer etc. The Land Line phones and the cordless phones are often blended as people think that they are same thing but there is a difference in the both that is of frequencies.
Each and every country is with the allotment of frequencies for the cordless phones. The frequency allotted for cordless telephones is of 3.6 KHz this frequency is enough to communicate. There are so many websites available with the help of which you can buy these phones and even can have the required information. The audio quality of these phones can be improved a lot. If these phones are of good quality then you can then the transference of the audio signals is with lowest interference and the best possible range. If the comparison is made according to the audio quality between both the phones then the wired phones are enough able to beat these cordless phones.
The technology used in these phones is the direct spread spectrum (DSS) in which the concept of frequency hopping is used. This is a technique in which audio ranges are spreader in a wider range in a pseudorandom manner. With the help of the signal generated the signal to noise ratio increase a lot. So that the interference susceptibility will decreases and the signal range will increase. As we know that the phones works on higher frequencies and the home appliances we use like Bluetooth, wireless LAN, microwave oven also works on higher frequency so the phones can interfere with their frequency hence the users must be very much careful. The performance of these phones depends upon a large number of factors like the quality of the antenna, the strength of the signal, the methods used for modulation purpose and the interference. But the cordless phones are very much useful if you are using it of very good quality because the design of the phone decides a lot about the quality of the product.
