The
iPhone 4S
offers the new iOS 5 operating system which provides an intuitive user interface as well as remaining one of the most robust and stable mobile operating systems currently on the market. The system includes more preinstalled apps than ever before including an advanced voice recognition app and better notifications.

The handset is the latest on the market, while its two most recent predecessors, one being the iPhone 4 are also compatible to be updated to iOS 5 respectively. This phone however, has it installed out of the box, and is therefore the first model to allow you to set itself up without connecting to a Mac or PC computer. From then onwards the system allows you to stay “PC free” as it remains to offer free updates directly to the device, and allows you to do more on other apps and upload and store them within the new iCloud remote storage service too. The iCloud service also backups all of your files so it is a great addition to your mobile lifestyle and handset.

One of the features that iOS 5 brings to iPhone 4S and other compatible devices from Apple, is the Notification Center. This now combines all notifications and alerts into one place, so they can all be viewed by you in a listed format, for you to review and deal with appropriately. Such notifications include new emails, text messages, friend requests on third party apps such as Facebook among many more. The Center also allows you to control which apps and notifications you get, and all are now at the top of the large Retina display, so they do not fully interrupt what you are currently doing. When the screen is locked, they still appear and you can swipe them to instantly unlock the display and act upon them.

Among other features iOS 5 has also integrated the social networking and micro-blogging service Twitter into the handset.this service allows you to easily tweet from within the user interface and you can include friends and contacts form your handset within your tweets respectively. This allows you to stay in contact with others and get your point across quicker and easier than ever.

The
iPhone 4S deals
the newest model in the series and comes with iOS 5 as standard. It is able to be setup without connecting to a PC or other computer, and can be updated effectively without as well. Other in-built features meanwhile make it further a powerful and impressive system.
