Can I put my Sprint Hybrid ic502 sim card in the Sprint i930 phone and it will work perfectly fine?

I am currently using Sprint’s hybrid ic502 and I want to buy the i930 on ebay but I want to make sure the sim card will transfer before spending the money. Because the ic502 runs the phone service through Sprint and walkie talkie through Nextel I dont know if the sim card swap will work.

Absolutely not. The hybrid SIMs are programmed differently so they’re not compatible with other phones besides hybrid devices. You can however get a Nextel SIM for the i930 and swap the service over from the ic502. If the i930 comes with a SIM, you can use that one, but if not you can purchase one for roughly 20 bucks. Call Nextel Care to swap the service. You might also have to change your rate plan if Nextel doesn’t offer the same one you have currently, but most of them are the same.
