My commander asked me today why he had two phones in his office?
One phone is one you could buy at wal-mart. The other is a STE phone. Both phones can call local cellphones, however, if the number for the STE phone is dialed from a cellphone, the call comes in on the normal phone. Would/could this be a reason for him having two phones in his office or is there a bigger reason?
I would ask whoever decided to have two phones in his office, but they likely PCSed 2 – 5 years ago.
I could use some enlightenment.
Your commander’s predecessor may have had the second phone installed for personal calls. That is just a guess.
