Remote Handset

i have a rover 620 and the remote handset has stopped working?

i have inserted new batteries and followed the instructions in the manual for resetting.the lights come on in the handset but still don’t unlock the car, help please

I have got a similar problem.m ine unlocks car but wont turn off imobiliser.tried to get new code from rover but they say they dont do it now. Terence P
